Portfolio

  • Background

Through working in a range of industries from hospitality to cosmetics to logistics, I have gained many transferrable skills. I am a well-organised and punctilious multitasker with the ability to speak multiple languages. I am a patient, kind, concise communicator and my people skills are excellent. Quirky, creative, and highly motivated, I have a positive attitude to working both by myself and in a team.

  • Humanery

For a short period in 2022, I freelanced for the men’s grooming platform Humanery, an inclusive community dedicated to guiding men when it comes to beauty, self-care, and wellbeing. As well as advertising and promoting the extensive range of men’s products on their website, I wrote and edited blog posts addressing the challenges that men face within the very female-focused beauty, cosmetics, and self-care industries.

  • CGN

Since 2021, I have been a volunteer writer for this inspiring social network founded and run by women. CGN has built a supportive community that connects and empowers women in cities all around the world. I regularly contribute blog posts to their online magazine, particularly within the food and travel sector, however I also write blogs about lifestyle, mental health, and current events to fit in with the social media calendar.

  • Balmonds

Originally, I was employed by natural skincare company Balmonds in 2020 to assist with the daily despatch of their products to both web customers and retailers. I quickly excelled in this role, so before long, I was entrusted with translating their website into German as well as writing website copy and blog posts about their natural products and how to manage difficult skin conditions, which is their area of expertise.

  • Woo Woo

Alongside pursuing my studies in 2018, I freelanced for WooWoo, intimate fem-care brand founded and run by women that is passionate about giving the finger to the taboos around female sexuality. I promoted their fem-care range and touched on many subjects about care down there in fun, open blog posts that encourage women to feel comfortable talking about sex and their sexual wellbeing so we can break the bias!

  • MAGAZINE

In my last year of high school, I had to choose a dissertation project. Wanting to combine my two passions for writing and cooking, I decided to create, design, and write a literary food magazine exploring the realm of why these two passions mean so much to me. I funded the printing costs all by myself with a bake sale, and the result of my dissertation was
Crumbs & Conundrums – A Belletristic Food Journal.
