from the French belles lettres
literally meaning beautiful letters
As a writer, I do not merely compile a series of narratives, but rather let the stories and histories of humanity unfold in a miscellany of moods and mentalities…
… when you and solely you are in charge of how words come together to form language, writing bears no boundaries and holds no judgment…
… the only thing writing requires is human expression, which has the freedom to manifest itself on the page in countless variations…
…at times it manifests as emotions, nostalgia and sentimental experiences, at others as thoughts, knowledge, wisdom or a strong-hearted opinion…
… and sometimes, it just manifests as a story that emerged from deep creativity and imagination.
As a writer, I don’t just create language…
… I own it,
dominate it,
and I make it mine.
